Porth Tocyn was one of the first post war country house hotels; set up by our Grandparents/Great Grandparents with the inspirational goal of combining quality accommodation with great food & a welcoming atmosphere. Things have moved on since then & expectations have evolved. However, these core principles remain, making Porth Tocyn a Welsh classic.

Interiors
A series of cosy & comfortable sitting rooms filled with country antiques, fresh flowers, books & magazines, makes relaxing so easy. There is an intimate little bar & even a childrens’ snug with an adjoining table tennis room for the young at heart to escape to.
Grounds
Well maintained interlinking gardens includes an inviting secluded heated swimming pool (open mid-May through till early September). The sea facing terrace affords a great spot to indulge in a casual lunch or afternoon tea, with immediate access onto the wonderful new ‘Wales Coast Path’ beyond.

The Llŷn Peninsula is a protected ‘Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty’, with an exceptional coastline of coves, beaches, headlands & bays, all connected by the ‘Wales Coast Path’. A paradise for golfers & those who love being on the water. With easy access to the drama of the hills & mountains of Snowdonia, Porth Tocyn provides a great base from which to explore.
